The Orchards, East Malling | Friday 25th September | 10am–3pm

WHO IS WELCOME?

EVERYONE!

You might already homeschool.

You might be considering homeschooling and simply want to find out more.

Your child might have SEN or SEND.

Your child might attend mainstream school.

Or you might simply be looking for something new for your child.

Whatever brings you through the door, you are welcome.

And you don't need to arrive knowing exactly what you're looking for. Sometimes one conversation, one new idea or meeting someone who simply gets it can be the most valuable part of the day.

Come and discover something new

We're bringing together a fantastic mix of businesses and specialists covering

education, activities, creativity, wellbeing, SEN support, therapies, resources and more.

Take a wander, ask questions, meet the people behind the businesses and find out what's available for your family.

There will also be short talks and demonstrations throughout the day — and you might arrive looking for one thing and leave having discovered something completely unexpected.

A place to connect too

We don't want the day to feel like somewhere you have to rush around.

We'll have exclusive use of The Conservatory, so grab a drink from the café, take a seat and have a chat with other families.

In a world where so much happens through screens, we'd love children to have the opportunity to meet face-to-face, chat and perhaps even make a new friend.

Bring a book, find a book!

We're also having a BOOK SWAP.

Have books at home that you've finished with but someone else could make good use of?

Bring them along and swap them for something new to you!

And it doesn't have to be a storybook — all kinds of books are welcome, including fiction, non-fiction, maths and English books, textbooks, workbooks, reference books and educational resources.

A great way to pass on resources you've outgrown, discover something useful and give pre-loved books a new home.📖♻️

And there might be a prize waiting…

We'll also have our charity raffle, with some fantastic prizes donated by both local and national businesses, raising money for Dandelion Time.

Another little bit of fun to add to the day — while supporting a wonderful Kent charity.

Come along and say hello

Entry is completely FREE.

You can register beforehand through our website if you'd like to, or simply turn up on the day.

Come for an hour or stay for longer.

Have a wander. Grab a drink. Swap a book. Meet someone new. Discover something different.
